I believe in delivering what the client wants in order to suit their own personal style. I love all styles and periods of design, and am therefore qualified to design any traditional, contemporary, or modern space.

I studied interior design at New York’s famous Fashion Institute of Technology, and fine arts at the prestigious New York University. After leaving college, I worked for a large firm in Manhattan specializing in residential interiors. My experience left me with the skills to launch my own firm in 1996.

Specializing in new construction and gut renovations, I work closely with architects, builders and developers to bring my fresh and unique perspective to both residential and commercial design.

In addition to a busy work schedule, I am very active with the Brain Injury Association of New York State, as well as the American Institute of Architecture and the American Society of Interior Designers.

This Manhassett Long Island Home is stately and elegant. When hired for the project, the walls were bare sheetrock and bore only builders grade moldings. The details you will see were all designed and executed by our award winning design team.
For three years we worked our way through the home, room by room.

This solid walnut paneled library was specifically designed for the lady of the house.

The kitchen and the breakfast room were designed to have a Tuscan feeling with custom cabinetry, faux finishes and exquisitly designed moldings.

This custom designed profesional batting cage was added in the lower level to amuse their three teenage boys.

This combination billiard and wine room was designed to accommodate the home owners extensive wine collection.

The Master Bedroom Sitting Area shows off the elegant silk damask of the formal draperies and custom carpet design.

This spectacular home is located at the very highest point on Shelter Island. The steel and glass construction highlights the magnificent views of the Long Island Sound.
The pale color palette is crisp enough to make a statement, but not interfere with the vistas.

The contemporary lines of this seating pit beautifully accent the sleek modern lines of the slate fireplace.

The magnificent water views were not comprimised because of the simple elegant lines of the McGuire furniture.

The design of this outdoor space for the Traditional Home Hampton's Showhouse was inspired by the lively hotels in South Beach, Florida.

This modern pied a terre for a busy international business man requiered our entire team. While the client was overseas, we had carte blance to renovate, and redecorate. Handing the client back his keys when he returned to the counrty, he was thrilled with the results.

A Manhattan eat-in kitchen showcasing light beechwood cabinetry, Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances with frosted sliding glass partitions.

The custom frosted gliding doors were added for privacy but did not use up valuable space.

Using glass tile and marble we were able to create a modern sophisticated master bath.

The master bedroom was hard wired with custom motorized drapery to open and close with controls located above the bedside table.

The wall in the dining room was upholstered in custom embossed leather tiles from Edelman Leather.

The main living room at the historic Gugenheim Mansion in Sands Point, Long Island was in desperate need of restoration. The intricate plaster ceiling took hundreds of hours to restore it to its original grandeure. The gothic tracery windows were re-varnished to become the focal point of the space. The white on white furnishings were used to compliment rather then compete with this spectacular Gold Coast mansion.

This Rockville Centre kitchen was gut renovated. Custom cabinets made by Rutt were custom finished in a buttercream paint.

The black painted island in this otherwise light kitchen anchors the design and adds depth.

The dark cherry wood cabinets used in this custom kitchen are offset by the bright glass tile used on the backsplash and mirrored in the pendants over the island.

This Oyster Bay Cove home owner needed more space for their large family. The renovation of their 3,000 square foot lower level afforded them space for a large second kitchen, dining area, home gym, media room and a play room.

Custom theater seats make this large viewing area cozy for the entire family.

This fun playroom showcases a young mans love of music and the NY Mets.

We are often called upon to bring our design skills to a clients home gym.

This magnificent outdoor space was designed and furnished to be a relaxing oasis. Sunbrella fabrics and custom outdoor furniture make the space beautiful as well as functional.

Chelsea House, an historic Gold Coast mansion was due for a much needed update. Glazed walls and ceilings allow the small amount of light in the room to bounce and make the room appear much lighter.

Using contemporary coloring and traditional furnishings this Manhassett teens room is classic but age appropriate.

The butler's pantry in this Sands Point mansion is adorned with a reproduction copper ceiling.

This Llyod Harbor master bath was spacious enough to showcase our beautiful molding and cabinetry design.
