Husband and wife team, Stephen & Gail Huberman, have been designing together for 35 years. Our work has spanned all aspects of design as well as interior architectural details. Our success grows from decades of collaboration, two design minds with one focus. We give each project an individual and distinct identity, that being the client's wishes.

Stephen's background is Interior design well as theater & stage design and is a graduate of New York School of Interior Design in New York City. Gail's background is extensive in the art field and a graduate of Adelphi University.

We met on a project over 3 decades ago and the rest is history.

Projects have included design & execution of apartment & main spaces of Oheka castle, 15 showhouses including Southampton NY & Kips Bay showhouses. Homes for top hedge fund and financial people as well as show business luminaries. The projects span the diversity of stores and showrooms to offices as well as all types of residential projects. Seamlessly mixing textures, styles & materials of all periods in a 21st century fashion, is our personal passion.Our services include all aspects of specifying,coordinating and managing all projects from concept through completion including renovations and construction. Projects have taken us as far as the the West Coast, Florida, the Carolina's as well as the entire Tri state area.

Publications have included House Beautiful, Architectural Digest In Brazil, Design Times, The New York Times, Westchester Cottages & Gardens, Westchester Home as well as many books and other publications.

Library office in Westchester county NY.The walls are nubuck suede framed by panels of rosewood which is carried through to the custom desk and bookcases, the carpet is a handwoven design and the drapery treatment is wool flannel.

Stylish and tailored living room with Art Deco chairs upholstered in Zebra ,walls painted in horizontal stripes,a rug design incorporating leather braiding and eight framed antique seals.
Powder room in the style of bottega veneta, the walls are woven mahogany panels, the ceiling is burnished silver leaf and the counter top is 1 1/2 glass etched with a silver back.
Upper hall landing with custom carpet from stairs, a wonderful double tier macassar ebony console and 2 high back chairs. All the walls are grasscloth.
Breakfast room with custom iron base table with embossed ceramic tile top and basket woven back chairs.
Large kitchen with ebony stained floors,glass tile backslashes and custom stainless steel hood. Counter stools match the kitchen chairs.
Dining room in Westchester county NY all walls paneled and painted red lacquer,Draperies are a combination of chocolate brown open weave over red wool liner. Table was custom designed in walnut and teak and seats 14. The cove lighting in dropped ceiling adds to the ambience.

A living room that combines and expresses years of collecting and editing both antiques,reproductions and accessories spanning all styles and origins in a rich deep taupe background. The iron chandelier, 1940's fornassetti screen and antique model staircase to name a few.
Custom wool & silk rug,custom cowhide covered bench and build out of wall and shelves to create a wonderful space to display collections as well as books.
The dining room with lacquered corrugated walls, ceiling details and obelisk shaped shelf units frame a wonderful piece of artwork in the dining room.

This master bedroom with a dramatic steel bed, hand screened stripe wallcovering and wonderful view of the outdoors is a totally relaxing environment . The armoire to the right houses added storage and a large tv. .

Master bathroom is a complete gut renovation and custom throughout. columned shelf unit separates bathtub and toilet areas while allowing the light to come through.
This powder room with antique alter table redesigned for copper sink and unique mirror, chocolate lacquered wallcovering create a dramatic setting in a small space.
