Entry Hall of Upper West Side Brownstone. The floor was designed in the traditional manner of a black and white marble checkerboard
In this kitchen the cabinetry was Ebonized. The glass light panels were custom designed and are backlit to provide the perfect light for preparing food.
A New York Upstate house addition. This library was added to the existing house using local timber, craftsmen and painted with zero VOC paint. I designed this during my recent partnership with MH Studio
The existing bathroom was dark and small and as the bathroom is at the front of the house it was not possible to add windows. By installing clerestory windows I was able to flood the room with light whilst maintaining complete privacy. I designed this bathroom during my recent partnership with MH Studio
The existing kitchen was split up by having too many doors and a very small window. By moving the window and closing a door I was able to create a space that felt open and functioned well. I designed this kitchen during my recent partnership with MH Studio.
By centering the window over the sink I was able to connect the client with his favorite part of his garden. This kitchen was designed during my recent partnership with MH Studio
In this bathroom I ran the decorative border tile under the shower enclosure to give the room greater symmetry and make the room feel larger. I designed this room during my recent partnership with MH Studio
This Library with a bar in it was designed to fit within a traditional Park Avenue apartment.
I designed and built this West Side Brownstone in the style that would have been used when the house was built. This are was used for a simple breakfast nook. By painting it all white the beauty of the cabinetry can be seen.
This room is a full guest bathroom concealed as a library. The shower & WC enclosure are hidden behind walls of books.
The staircase to the entry hall of this mid-victorian townhouse had custom balusters designed to match the originals.
This Kitchen was designed in a provincial french country style with a tumbled marble backsplash.
These two pairs of reclaimed doors were hung on tracks to separate the dining area from the kitchen during the day.
All the detailing of this county house was replicated from the original house. Some of the craftsmen who worked on the renovation were the great grand children of the original craftsmen who helped build the original house.
This top floor loft bathroom has skylights and plenty of storage. The custom vanity cabinet had many different storage niches for specific items.
In this custom designed polished wood dressing room everything has its place!
In this bathroom we created masses of extra storage by designing these wide etched glass cabinets to fit in the wall depth.
This cabinet is designed to hold liquor bottles and has a pull out serving shelf.
